Paul D. Frankel
The Jacob Burns Film Center community is saddened at the passing of Paul D. Frankel, a founding board member and our first President. Paul was initially drawn to the JBFC because it embodied his dual love for film and the arts. Paul was one of our leaders, but also one of our most enthusiastic community members, along with his wife Evy.
We were honored to present Paul with the first JBFC President’s Award at our 11th Anniversary Celebration on September 29th, and to recognize his extraordinary contributions and impact. Our deepest condolences go out to Evy and their family.
