A TASTE OF ANIMATION
One-Day Workshop
Working together, family members imagine stories and settings and bring characters to life—and have a fantastic time in the process!
• Use stop-motion software to animate clay, watercolor, paper, and other media
• A child and adult work together as a team
• Class size: 12 (6 teams)

Weekend workshop
An opportunity for family members to connect in a deeply meaningful way guided by the JBFC’s International Filmmaker-in-Residence.
• View compelling documentaries that cover personal subjects
• Create a portrait of your family with images and sound
• Honor family traditions and stories
• Class size: 10 (5 teams)

DIGITAL STORYTELLING
Weekend Workshop
Spend a weekend with a family member using photographs, pictures, text, and music to tell your stories in a new and different way.
• Make a unique home video using your photo collection, a scanner, and a computer
• A child and adult work together as a team
• Class size: 12 (6 teams)
