Family Tales
A Taste of Animation

 

FAMILY TALES
Your family has a rich trove of stories ready to be found! With songs, film clips, and his own family stories as inspiration, master storyteller Bill Gordh and his magical banjo will guide you in the process to discover the core of your story, spin a great tale, and find creative ways to share it.
• Learn the art of storytelling.
• Film your story to bring home and share.
• Can involve the whole family!
• Bring parents, children, cousins, and others! Participants can be any age.
• Teams should be a minimum of 2, maximum of 4.

BLUE SKY STUDIOS AT THE JBFC
A member of the Blue Sky Studios team will participate in these special programs presented in collaboration with the Katonah Museum of Art (KMA).



A TASTE OF ANIMATION
Working together, family members imagine stories and settings and bring characters to life—and have a fantastic time in the process!
• Use stop-motion software to animate clay, watercolor, paper, and other media.
• A child and adult work together as a team.
• Also offered for Pre-K-Grade 2, Grades 3-4, and Grades 5-8

Each team must include one participant over the age of 21 and one in Grades 3–5.
