Production Facilities
The Media Arts Lab houses state-of-the-art production facilities and filmmaking equipment, available for the exclusive use of students currently enrolled in a class.
The Lab is equipped with:
16 editing suites: (10) Mac Pro and (6) iMac computers with Final Cut Pro Studio, and Pro Tools; Avid
Animation studio: (3)iMacs with iStopMotion
Recording studio: 24 Channel D-Command Work Surface, 8 Channel Digidesign Mic Preamps, Foley
4 studios: Full projection capability and Lumen WXGA Projector
XDCAM EX Camcorders, short shotgun microphones, portable digital audio mixers, Cyber-Shot digital still cameras, wireless microphone transmitter and portable receiver systems,
Screening room: 35 mm, HD, etc.
Food and drink are prohibited in the Media Arts Lab. The Jacob Burns Film Center and the Media Arts Lab are smoke-free facilities.
