Programs for Schools: See Hear Feel Film
Grade 3
See Hear Feel Film
See Hear Feel Film teaches students active viewing skills and techniques of telling a story through film.
Viewing short films from around the world to spur their creativity, the children learn to write with clarity and confidence, improve their storytelling skills, and become keener observers of the world around them. The curriculum consists of five units, each featuring short films, writing exercises, and creative collaboration. All students receive a JBFC Film Journal for their personal writing, drawing, and reflection. The curriculum is available in English and Spanish. Over 50,000 third grade students have participated in See Hear Feel Film nationally and internationally.
