Your Sister's Sister
"The three leads are pitch-perfect here, loose and low-key yet fully in character." (Justin Chang, Variety)
Your Sister's Sister starring Mark Duplass, Emily Blunt, and Rosemarie Dewitt is a comic modern update on the classic love triangle. A year after his brother's death, Jack (Duplass) is still an emotional wreck. His friend Iris (Blunt) offers her parents' secluded cabin to him for some needed R&R. Once there, he encounters Iris's sister, Hannah (Dewitt) who is dealing with a recent trauma of her own. The film is a peek into the reconciliation of family, friends, and lovers, as they awkwardly maneuver their way through the obstacles life throws at them.

The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel
"A sterling cast and a fine balance of comedy and poignancy make this story of unfulfilled Brit retirees discovering new life in India a pleasure-filled journey." (David Rooney, The Hollywood Reporter)
Enticed by advertisements for the newly restored Marigold Hotel, a group of British retirees decide to “outsource” their retirement and move to less expensive and seemingly, exotic India. They soon discover that the hotel is a shell of its former self and isn’t as luxurious as they had believed. With an all-star cast that includes Bill Nighy, Judi Dench, and Maggie Smith, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is a witty, up-lifting, feel-good comedy.
John Madden. 2012. 124 m. PG-13. UK. Fox Searchlight.2:25 PM
A phenomenon in France, where it shattered box-office records to become the second most successful French film of all time, Intouchables tells the true story of the unlikely friendship between a quadriplegic aristocrat (François Cluzet) and his unconventional Senegalese caretaker from the projects (Omar Sy). Critics are applauding breakout star Omar Sy, who received the Cesar Award for Best Actor for his performance.
Olivier Nakache/Eric Toledano. 2012. 112 m. R. France, French. The Weinstein Company.2:30 PM 5:05 PM
"Its departures from realism have the effect of enlarging the narrow, unremarkable lives that are its focus, and by extension the audience's sense of what those lives might mean." (AO Scott, New York Times)
Writer and director Todd Solondz (Welcome to the Dollhouse) examines the irretrievability of youth and the mercilessness of time passing in this melancholy and idiosyncratic comedy starring Justin Bartha, Selma Blair, Mia Farrow and Christopher Walken.

Beasts of the Southern Wild
"A stunning debut that finds its dandelion-haired heroine fighting rising tides and fantastic creatures in a mythic battle against modernity." (Peter Debruge, Variety)
