Beasts of the Southern Wild
"A stunning debut that finds its dandelion-haired heroine fighting rising tides and fantastic creatures in a mythic battle against modernity." (Peter Debruge, Variety)
4 Academy Award Nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director, Actress in a Leading Role
Winner of the Caméra d'Or award at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, Beasts of the Southern Wild was one of the most anticipated indie films of 2012. From first-time filmmaker Benh Zeitlin, the film tells the story of an extraordinarily imaginative six-year-old girl who when faced with unstoppable catastrophes of epic proportions must learn to survive on her own.

Opulence and ignorance are centerstage in The Queen of Versailles, when a billionaire business man and his trophy wife, in the process of building their 90,000 sq.ft. home are hit by the financial crisis of 2008. Lauren Greenfield's documentary reveals a lifestyle of astounding excess and overweening entitlement in this terrific documentary that the NY Times says, "captures the tone of the times with a clear, surprisingly compassionate eye."

Looking Through A Glass Onion: Deconstructing The Beatlesí White Album
Beatles expert Scott Freiman presents rare audio and video of the Beatles in action as they create their 1968 album The Beatles (the White Album). The album included 30 songs in many styles, all recorded during a remarkable year that included a lengthy trip to India and the arrival of Yoko Ono. Freiman traces the creation of “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” and “Revolution” from demo to final version, covers the recording of “Hey Jude,” and discusses the Beatles’ 1968 studio techniques.

To Rome with Love
"One of the most delightful things about To Rome With Love is how casually it blends the plausible and the surreal, and how unabashedly it revels in pure silliness." (A.O. Scott, NY Times)
With a sumptuously photographed Rome as the backdrop, this charming comedic omnibus starring Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni, Jesse Eisenberg, Ellen Page, and Penelope Cruz is sure to please.

Tomorrow Never Knows: Deconstructing the Beatles' Revolver
Beatles expert Scott Freiman (“Looking through a Glass Onion,” “A Trip through Strawberry Fields”) returns with another show that’s sure to sell out quickly. This time he presents rare audio and video that brings us into the studio with the Beatles as they create their groundbreaking 1966 album Revolver. With songs such as “Eleanor Rigby,” “Yellow Submarine,” and “Tomorrow Never Knows,” the album launched a period of studio experimentation for the band that coincided with the end of their concert performances. Freiman also explores the band’s groundbreaking production techniques on “Paperback Writer” and “Rain,” both recorded during the same period.
