In honor of the 150th year since Anton Chekhov’s birth, we have a very rare opportunity to screen some great Soviet and Russian cinematic works that were inspired by the celebrated writer, including, as a special treat, the new and highly anticipated adaptation of Ward No. 6, the Russian submission for this year’s Academy Award.
