The Campaign
for 21st Century Education welcomes outright gifts of cash
or securities.
Donors at all levels will help us meet our $20 million goal.
Please join the hundreds of JBFC members and donors who have supported the campaign.
While we will never be able to fully express our appreciation for such broad community support, we look forward to recognizing and celebrating our donors to the capital campaign this fall:
- Donors at the $5,000 and above level will be invited to the Chairman’s Dinner on September 20 hosted by JBFC Board Chairman Art Samberg and his wife, Becky. A highlight of this very special evening will be a toast to our future in the new Media and Education Center.
- Donors at all levels will be invited to a private Open House Tour and Reception.
- All donors will be acknowledged in a commemorative campaign publication.

To pledge a gift over three years: Commitments to the campaign may be in the form of a pledge, payable
over one to three years. All gifts are welcomed and will be acknowledged
in a commemorative campaign publication. Please call Judy Exton
to discuss a strategy for your gift.
Matching Gifts: Many companies
will match or multiply their employees’ donation to the Jacob Burns Film Center. Some
will also match gifts of employees’ spouses and retirees. When
making a gift to the Jacob Burns Film Center, please contact your
company’s matching gift office.
By reaching our goal, we will secure the funds needed for these important initiatives and satisfy The Kresge Challenge Grant.
Now it is time for the entire JBFC community to come together to successfully compete the campaign. Gifts at every level will help us meet the Kresge Challenge. If we raise the balance of the campaign goal by the end of the year, we will be awarded $750,000 from The Kresge Foundation.
Now you can double your gift! We have received a generous $125,000 matching challenge grant from an anonymous donor. All new and increased contributions to the campaign (up to $15,000) will be matched, dollar for dollar, through the end of the year. What a great opportunity to maximize your gift and help us meet our goal by December 31, 2008. This is an “all or nothing” challenge - we need your support!
