Silver Screen Circle (SSC) members provide vital support for our film, education, and outreach programs, while receiving every opportunity to experience all that the JBFC has to offer. Exclusive Silver Screen Circle Member Benefits, including the Silver Screen Circle Dinner and The Thursday Circle are available at the following levels:

SSC members receive advance purchase opportunities or complimentary ticket offers to all preview screenings and filmmaker events. They are given every chance to attend these very popular and often sold-out events. Over the years, hundreds of special guests have joined us for memorable evenings at the JBFC, including:

A highlight of the year is the Silver Screen Circle Dinner. The ninth annual dinner was held on January 10, 2010 and featured a Tribute to Jessica Lange followed by a seated dinner in the Jane Peck Gallery. Past honorees include Ed Harris, Kevin Spacey, Jeff Bridges, Robert Duvall, and Hilary Swank. This very special event is for Silver Screen Circle members only, who receive anywhere from two to eight complimentary tickets depending on their membership level.
Several times throughout the year Silver Screen Circle members are invited to attend complimentary preview screenings in the Media Arts Lab’s Screening Room. These events include a post-screening dialogue with Programming Director Brian Ackerman, and other special guests, followed by a reception in the Center Studio. These intimate gatherings offer an ideal way to experience film, enjoy interesting conversations, and meet new friends.
