Directions & Parking for Buses
The Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC) is located at 364 Manville Road. The Media Arts Lab is located at 405 Manville Road. The following driving directions are the same for both locations until reaching Manville Road in Pleasantville, NY.
FROM THE NORTH
Taconic Parkway south to Pleasantville Rd./Pleasantville exit. Turn left off the exit and follow Pleasantville Rd. 1.5 miles to the third stoplight. Turn left onto Manville Rd. The Film Center is on the right just after the third light.
FROM THE SOUTH
Sprain Parkway north to the Taconic Parkway. At the Hawthorne interchange, the Sprain Brook will lead directly onto the Taconic State Parkway. The first exit on the Taconic Parkway is Pleasantville-Route 117. Take a right at the light on 117. After ¼ mile, bear left, following Route 117. The Film Center is on the right just after the third light.
FROM THE EAST
Take Route 287 West to Exit 3 to the Sprain Brook Parkway North. Proceed north as above.
FROM THE WEST
After paying the toll on the Tappan Zee, proceed south on Route 87 (New York State Thruway) to exit 8 “Cross Westchester Expressway.” As you exit, remain in the right lane and immediately take Exit 1 (off Cross Westchester) marked “Saw Mill River Parkway/Route 119.”

Routes 9 and 9A connect with Route 117. The Jacob Burns Film Center is located on Route 117 in Pleasantville.
Bus drop-off for the JBFC is directly in front of the Film Center, from the street onto the sidewalk.
Bus drop-off for the Media Arts Lab is inside the circular drive, with the entrance on Manville Road, and exit onto Grant Street.
Bus parking is available north of the JBFC on Manville Road and in the Hopper Street Parking Lot off of Marble Avenue next to Parkway Field. A map is available for the bus driver upon request.
Please note:
1. No double parking unless students are actively boarding or disembarking the bus
2. No parking on the train track overpass on Manville Rd.
3. No parking in any of the metered spots (unless the bus is van size and takes up only one spot)
4. Drivers must remain with their bus at all times
