Media Arts Lab
Take a free tour of the Media Arts Lab and learn about all the programs being offered.
Meet at 405 Manville Rd., Pleasantville, NY, in the lobby of the Media Arts Lab at 5:30 pm on the third Thursday of each month. Tours last approximately 30 minutes. Each participant receives one free pass to a regular screening at the JBFC Theater that night. No preregistration is required.

What is the Media Arts Lab?
This brand-new, state-of-the-art facility—a “green” building—is equipped with 16 editing suites, a recording studio, a soundstage, a 60-seat screening room, an animation studio, a large Center Studio, and 4 small studios.
All courses at the Lab use 21st-century media to foster intellectual curiosity and creative exploration, encouraging students of all ages to tell stories and become effective and inspired communicators.
Some of the many offerings include hands-on workshops, master classes with working filmmakers, cinema studies classes, fellowships for emerging and international filmmakers, and professional development for educators. It offers classes for beginning and advanced students during the day, after school, in the evenings, and on weekends.
